Delivering Care, Building Futures in Haiti

Solventas Foundation’s work in Haiti began under its original name, Integral Life Foundation (ILF), as a deeply hands-on, partnership-driven effort to address the urgent and complex needs of one of the most vulnerable populations in the world—abandoned and orphaned children.

Through its early initiative, The Haiti Project, the foundation partnered with C3 Missions International and Nueterra Healthcare to deliver a comprehensive model of support—providing housing, healthcare, education, nutrition, and spiritual care to children living in extreme poverty. This approach extended beyond basic aid, focusing on building orphanages, establishing medical clinics, and delivering both primary and specialized care, including surgery, while also supporting the broader community’s healthcare needs.

Over time, these efforts helped improve the lives of hundreds of children, with multiple orphanages and clinics constructed and plans to expand even further. As the foundation evolved into what is now Solventas, the mission remained unchanged. In addition to long-term infrastructure development, the foundation played a critical role in emergency response—deploying medical teams immediately following natural disasters, including the 2010 earthquake, to provide triage care in overwhelmed conditions.

Across both crisis response and sustained development, Solventas’ work in Haiti reflects its core philosophy: partner with organizations already doing meaningful work, engage directly on the ground, and invest in solutions that address the full spectrum of human need to create lasting, generational impact.
